The "Server not found" error means Pink Narwhal tried to access your server through the Pterodactyl/Pelican API and it was not there. This usually happens for one of three reasons:
When this happens, Pink Narwhal automatically pauses the server and shows the reason on the server card. Backups stop running until you fix the issue.
If you intentionally deleted the server from your panel, you can remove it from Pink Narwhal too. Your existing backups will remain until they expire.
Go to Settings and update your client API key. Then go to the server card and unpause it. The next backup will run on schedule.
Go to Settings and update your panel URL. Unpause any affected servers afterward.
Pink Narwhal will send a Discord notification when a server is not found (if you have notifications enabled). This is a good reason to set up Discord notifications.
There is not much to prevent here. Servers get deleted. API keys get rotated. Panels move. The important thing is that Pink Narwhal pauses gracefully instead of failing silently. Your existing backups are always safe.
