Understanding Your Analytics

Date range

The analytics page defaults to the last 7 days. You can select a custom date range using the date picker. Your selection is stored in the URL so you can bookmark specific views or share them with teammates.

Plan usage

Two cards at the top show your current usage:

  • Storage used GB out of your plan limit, with a progress bar
  • Servers how many servers you have versus your plan limit

Summary stats

Four numbers summarizing your backup activity for the selected period:

  • Total Backups how many backups ran
  • Success Rate percentage that completed successfully. Green if 95% or above. Amber if 80% or above. Red below 80%.
  • Total Restores how many restores were performed
  • Data Restored total bytes restored across all restores

Charts

Five charts give you a visual breakdown:

Backups per day

A bar chart showing how many backups ran each day. Useful for spotting days where something went wrong (a sudden dip usually means your panel was down).

Storage over time

An area chart showing your storage usage trend. If the line keeps going up, you are accumulating backups faster than retention is deleting them.

Successful vs failed

A donut chart of backup outcomes. Ideally this is almost entirely green. If it is not, check the troubleshooting section.

Manual vs automated

A donut chart showing the ratio of manual to automated backups. If you are triggering a lot of manual backups, you might want to adjust your schedule instead.

Full vs selective restores

A donut chart of restore types. Mostly useful for curiosity.

Note

All charts reflect the selected date range. If the charts look empty, try expanding the date range.
