Account management

Your account settings are managed through your profile panel. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Manage account to open it.

Updating your profile

From the account panel you can:

  • Change your display name
  • Update your email address
  • Upload or change your profile picture

Changes take effect immediately across the dashboard.

Changing your password

Open your account settings and find the password section. You will need your current password to set a new one. Standard stuff.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA. Your Pink Narwhal account has access to your server files, so keeping it secure matters.

Setting up 2FA

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Manage account
  3. Find the Two-factor authentication section
  4. Click Add two-factor authentication
  5. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
  6. Enter the verification code to confirm

Backup codes

When you enable 2FA, you will receive backup codes. Store these somewhere safe. If you lose access to your authenticator app, backup codes are your way back in.

Important

Save your backup codes. If you lose your authenticator and your backup codes, you will need to contact support to regain access. We can verify your identity but it takes time.

Signing out

Click your avatar and select sign out. You will be redirected to the login page. Groundbreaking stuff.

Deleting your account

If you want to delete your account entirely, contact support. Account deletion removes your profile and organization membership. Existing backups in your organization will follow their normal retention schedule.
